Haji Ali, Mumbai

Haji Ali is a mosque and Dargah located on the coast of Worli in the southern part of Mumbai. Haji Ali Dargah is one of the popular religious places in Mumbai visited by people of all religions. It is India's one of the most famous and prestigious landmark. It is located at around 500 yards from Mumbai's shoreline in the middle of the Arabia Sea.



The structure was set up on a set of high rising rocks and given the shape in 19th century (in the year 1969) as it have today.
The monument is situated at the shores of Mumbai from the long time. Haji Ali Dargah is the complex housing the tomb of the famous Muslim Saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari (R.A.). Along with the tomb, a Mosque is also there at Haji Ali.



The structure of the Dargah has white Domes and Minarets suggested by the architect of that period. The white-colored structure of the Dargah attracts large number of tourists. Haji Ali is the famous pilgrimage site for the Muslims. Non-Muslim visitors are also allowed to visit the Dargah.
