Jungle Safari

Pench National Park Jungle Safari-
                Pench national park is named after Pench river, flowing through the park from north to south. It is located near Seoni and Chindwada District (Southern Madhya Pradesh) and borders Maharashtra. Pench is located around 80 kms from Nagpur.

  • Total Area: 757.85 sq. km.
  • Altitude: 580-675 Mt. Above MSL

Wildlife in Pench:



Pench is famous for Tiger, followed by, Leapord, Wild Dog and Wold. Other animals are Cheetal, Sambar, Gaur (Indian Bison), Wild Pig, Sloth Bear, Chinkara, Hyena, Porcupine, Palm Civet, Jackal, Barking Deer, Chousingha.
 It has the count of 29 tigers, 39 species of mammals,13 species of reptiles, 3 speceis of amphibians.
              There are 285 species of birds in this park, including migratory as well as resident species. Pench is the best place for bird lovers.

Pench Safari Timings:

Safari timings changes with the season.

Winter Timings
For Morning Safari, Entry time is 0730 hrs and Exit time is 1030 hrs.
For Evening Safari, Entry time is 1500 hrs and Exit time is 1730 hrs.

Summer Timings
For Morning Safari, Entry time is 0630 hrs and Exit time is 0930 hrs.
For Evening Safari, Entry time is 1600 hrs and Exit time is 1830 hrs.

How to reach Pench?

There are various ways to reach the Pench National Park, i.e. by Air, by Road, by Railway.
  1. By Air-
  • Nagpur Airport is the nearest Airport, located at a distance of around 88kms by road.
  • Jabalpur Airport is located at 200 kms.
 2. By Road-
  • Nagpur is 88 km from Pench (Nh-7).
3. By Railway-
  • Nagpur is the nearest railway station.
